In this post I will talk about of the waves but very sound waves (sounds, noises ...). Then later I will speak of the light waves (Produced by lamps, candles ...), so radiant (from sources of heat) and radio waves (long-distance transport sounds and images ...).
In general the waves are movements of energy without transporting matter . The sound waves are emitted by vibrating elastic bodies for this is considered to be mechanical (in the case of radio or television but are electromagnetic waves), these waves are what we make or receive a daily basis (The friend who talks to you, the ' bird that sings, the book falls). The sound waves are transmitted through media such as air, water, iron, wood (elastic materials). The sound is different depending on the frequency or the number of times that moves in unit time (one second), the man can perceive frequencies from 20 Hz to 20 000 Hz (The capacity decreases over the age of 'intensity is the amount of energy transmitted. This is determined by' size of 'sound wave.
The sound energy is measured in watts per square meter.
