What we call earth, is also called the lithosphere. The lithosphere has not been explored lunge, the deepest hole measuring just 11 km or so, when according to some hypotheses 6370 km separate us from the core. What we know about the lithosphere is almost entirely hypothetical.
The lithosphere is divided into several parts and each is divided by a "discontinuity" sails here in order: crust, the Moho discontinuity , the upper mantle (it is a700 km depth), the lower mantle (located at 2900 km depth), outer core (located at 5200 km depth) and the inner core (located at 6370 km depth).
